CANDLE CARE
Treat your Candle with care by following a few simple instructions and safety precautions. This will ensure that you get the very best from your Candle.
FIRST TIME LIGHTING
Trim wick to 8mm before lighting for the first time. When lighting a coco-soy candle for the first time, allow the wax to melt all the way to the sides of the container. This will give you maximum fragrance and an even burn. If you do not allow the wax to pool on the first burn you may get wax remaining along the sides of your container and will not burn evenly down the container. Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.

WICK CARE
Trim your wick to about 8mm before re-lighting each time. This will ensure a long lasting candle, minimize soot and remove any mushrooming of the wick left from the previous burn.
If not trimmed it may cause some soot to collect on the inside of the container. If this happens, extinguish your candle, wait for it to cool, wipe off the carbon marks with a clean damp cloth and re-light. Be sure not to over trim your wick as you may not be able to re-light your candle.

EXTINGUISHING
Extinguish your candle by dipping the wick into the melted wax and straighten or use a snuffer. This will stop the wick smoking and will help with re-lighting the next time. Blowing out your candle is not recommended as the liquid wax may splatter and your wick may continue to glow and emit a small amount of smoke - which is perfectly normal when you extinguish a candle by blowing out rather than dipping in the wax or using a snuffer. Once the candle is extinguished allow the wax to solidify and then follow the candle storage advice below.
CANDLE FRAGRANCE
Our candles are fragranced using highest quality aromatic scents, our fragrances are sourced from the finest of Fragrance Houses
AVOID DRAUGHTS
Candles burn at their very best in still air if you cannot avoid draughts, follow the candle safety below and turn your candle periodically to help avoid your candle burning unevenly. A candle burning within any draught may also start to smoke slightly.
CANDLE SAFETY
To prevent fire and serious injury always burn your candle within sight and keep out of the reach of children and pets. Never burn your candle on a delicate or non-heat resistant surface or near anything that can catch fire. See label on the bottom of the jar for further health and safety advice.
